This is a non-exempt/hourly position. Non-exempt employees categorized as Full-time generally work 37.5 hours per week.
Summary: Aids the Facility Management Department in maintaining bank owned properties and equipment as administered by the Facility Management Operations Administrator and Facility Management Officer.
•Responsible for a wide variety of building and equipment maintenance to including basic electrical, plumbing, light carpentry, painting, small machine, flooring, and general building structure.
•Organizes daily assignments and driving routes and ensures that needed tools, materials, and equipment are available for each assigned project.
•Maintains adequate documentation for completed work orders, material purchases, packing slips, and receipts per department requirements and submits them in a timely manner.
•Responsible for loading/unloading vehicles, moving heavy furniture or equipment/tools, etc.
•Frequently operates a company vehicle for local travel and/or delivery.
•Maintains bank owned work vehicles in an organized manner, including the maintenance vehicle inventory sheet and log.
•Maintains good condition of tools and machinery and utilizes tools carefully and as instructed.
◾All other reasonable duties as assigned.
◾Performs all duties of a Maintenance Technician. Delegated more specialized/skilled work.
◾May assist in special projects as directed.
Required Education and Experience:
•Strong attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically orientated situations following manager’s instructions;
•Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to handle urgent situations effectively and efficiently;
•General working knowledge of various types of equipment including plumbing, electrical, construction, and air conditioning;
•Minimum 2 years broad experience in maintenance work;
•Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record;
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Strong time management skills with the ability to handle daily maintenance assignments with detail, accuracy, and efficiency;
•Specialized training and/or certification within a particular desired trade.
Requirements for performing Essential Functions:
On the job the employee may physically be required to bend, sit, squat, stand, walk, climb, push/pull, reach above shoulder level, use finger movements, handle objects (manual dexterity), and/or carry/lift loads up to 50lbs. The company requires any item weighing over 50 lbs to be lifted or moved by more than one worker (“team lift”), or by using appropriate equipment. On the job the employee must mentally be able to read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason, analyze, and be around moving machinery and excessive noise. The position requires good eyesight and hearing, and frequent operation of a motorized vehicle.
