  • Responsibilities

    Summary: Facilitates community engagement by identifying local community events to participate in within the bank’s market area. Works closely with branch managers and bank personnel to plan, coordinate, and execute event involvement. Supports marketing day-to-day operations including research, media campaigns, promotions and projects.

    Essential Functions:

    • Plans and coordinates events, meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; and promotes event internally & externally to ensure success.
    • Monitors and responds to internal requests for marketing material and support.
    • Composes, designs and implements internal and external advertising materials such as direct mail, statement stuffers, website, digital ad copy, social media, etc. Ensures marketing materials meet compliance requirements.
    • Tracks and analyzes campaign results. Makes recommendations for improvement as needed.
    • Conducts periodic review of the bank’s website content to ensure accuracy and functionality.
    • Research, maintain, and report on customer marketing data using an MCIF database to aid management in determining marketing direction.
    • Stays abreast of competitive industry trends to generate new ideas, concepts, and programs. Conducts market research, including periodic surveys to monitor competition’s products, services, rates, etc.
    • Provide administrative support to each member of the marketing team as needed.
    • All other reasonable duties as assigned.  




    Required Education and Experience:

    • Strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    • Excellent analytical skills and creative techniques;
    • Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative role preferably related to Marketing.;
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent work experience.


    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • 3 or more years of experience in Marketing, preferably within the financial services industry.
    • Knowledge of graphic design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop InDesign or Canva.

    Requirements for performing Essential Functions:

    On the job, the employee may physically be required to bend, sit, squat, stand, walk, and use finger movements. On the job, the employee must mentally be able to read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze.
